Slashdot’s hosting
Back in 2000, Slashdot was serving over 50 million pages per month, and I’m sure much more than that now. When you consider that almost everybody’s page they link to breaks miserably and goes offline (the Slashdot effect), Slashdot’s servers are doing pretty well.
