New template
Kudos to Philip for synthesizing all of the great ideas for the blog template from retreat, etc. and actually putting them together into one template… Hope everyone likes what they see!
the NCBI site (for Phil)
I think that the counter/blurb here could be a nice model for events.stanford.edu

Another really cool thing about it is the ability to use MeSH terms (I told Kyle about it, but it’s of particular relevance to Phil, since he’ s working on the keywords stuff, I think

ISIS Labs Logo Prototype 1, and by Zach’s request, a brushed metal version. Comments appreciated.
Their posters are beautiful works of art and they show up everywhere, but this was the real kicker: seeing the add for the Hazel Carby lecture show up on the Stanford Libraries Homepage. Now there’s some wheelin and dealin. Zach, how did they pull that off?
Maybe we can get the library website to […]
Emerging Tech Dinner
I’ll be sending out an e-mail, but I figured this would be a way to get me posting more regularly to the blog…
Everyone had great comments/questions about the proposed dinner. I’d like to post a more detailed proposal/outline of the plans and objectives of the dinner soon.
If anyone is interested in meeting soon, let […]
