Social Software

This article on social software talks about “The Matching Problem” (matching people with events, groups that provide a service with those that need it, etc.), and The Classroom-Management Problem (is the lecturer going too fast or slow?), two topics we’ve discussed a bit. Clay Shirky also has an article on Group politics in the connected age. Perhaps the Emerging Tech conference influenced me more than I admit (I am blogging, afterall, but I don’t have a t-shirt yet) but this seems like an interesting term which gets at what we’re working on.
