What do you want to contribute?
The things I really want to see happen are:
— Building our group to last and building Events at Stanford to last. This means managing an effective leadership transition and working with the university to secure funding and management of E@S long term.
— Making E@S more […]

A sample screener document that helps narrow down the possible users for a focus group. Something similar may be useful for the groupsATstanford intranet testing.

Blender Toys

24Jan04

All those at the retreat in Monterey surely remember the toys we played with that, though often indirectly, aided our creativity. Looking through an old WIRED today, I noticed a list of several toys under their “WIRED Tools” category. We should consider stocking the Blender with an assortment of these in the common rooms. WIRED NEXTFEST

24Jan04

WIRED magazine is holding a celebration in May of all things future: NEXTFEST. It should be a physical example of all those photoshopped futuristic back pages in the magazine.

iTunes is now offering RSS Feeds for the latest happenings in the Music Store. Users can set up their parameters for a feed at Apple’s iTunes Music […]

I have not used the CCNet coureware, but free is always good.
From the […]

A quick prototype of what a groupsATstanford intranet might look like:
Intranet Design 01 Screenshot

My contribution:
Primarily I will be working on the groupsATstanford project, especially the group intranet portion, with the goal to transfer knowledge of the “elder statesmen” to the group as a whole.
How to grow/learn:
I hope to use the design process to learn connections between different parts of design and team projects, and to learn how to […]
